Osmo Pocket 3: Small Camera, Big Impact!

Osmo Pocket 3: Small Camera, Big Impact!

Just when you might've been thinking that our DJI Osmo Action 4 had made the Pocket series seem a little less necessary, the Pocket 3 comes along and takes things up a notch, giving you even smoother 4K video quality from a camera that's perfect for your on-the-go adventures.

The standout new feature of the Pocket 3 is its versatile 1-inch multi-aspect sensor. This amazing sensor allows you to capture a variety of video formats, including landscape, square, and portrait, making it a dream come true for content creators who are always on the move.

The Pocket 3's multi-aspect sensor is quite the powerhouse. When shooting in the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio (3840 x 2160 pixels), it can deliver smooth 4K video at speeds of up to 120fps. And if you're into that trendy square look, the 1:1 aspect ratio produces a fantastic 3K resolution at 60fps (3072 x 3072 pixels). Now, while you might not get the full 4K resolution in the portrait format video at 9:16 – it's 1728 x 3072 pixels – it's still a significant improvement over any other DJI offering, preserving much of the impressive detail captured by this new sensor.

Boasting a range of distinctive design elements, the idea behind these are to elevate its ease of use, making it an absolute delight for those who enjoy crafting spontaneous social media videos. With a similar design to the Pocket 2, the Pocket 3 has a super-compact stick-like form factor that slides into your pocket, with a gimbal-mounted camera that boasts industry-leading image stabilisation that’s a dream for shooting videos on the fly.

The introduction of the new sensor has ushered in an exciting feature: a brand-new screen that comes with an incredibly handy quick-switch function between the two aspect ratios. No more navigating through complicated menus to select the perfect video format – now, you can effortlessly flip to your desired format and start capturing your moments in an instant.

Furthermore, you'll find all the classic DJI video features that have made our cameras so appealing for social media content creators. This includes must-haves like Hyperlapse, Motionlapse, and Timelapse, which add that extra flair to your content. On top of that, the Pocket 3 is fully compatible with the optional remote DJI Mic, offering a significant enhancement in sound quality, ensuring your videos not only look great but sound amazing too.

The Osmo Pocket 3 is now available to order online at DJI Retail or purchase at our flagship store in Birmingham. It is available in two options, the Standard which costs £489 or should you want to get the most out of your Pocket 3, then choose the Creator Combo for £619 which includes an additional wide angle lens, DJI Mic 2 transmitter, battery handle, mini tripod & carrying bag.
