02 Preparing Your Device
2.1 Installing the Battery
Open the battery compartment cover and insert the battery. Close the battery compartment cover and push it until you hear a click, indicating it is fully closed.
2.2 Charging the Device
· Charging via the USB-C Port
Open the USB-C port cover, and connect the USB-C port to the charger using the provided cable. A USB-C charger that supports PPS or PD fast charging is recommended.
· Charging via the Multifunctional Battery Case
Insert the battery into the battery case and connect the case to a charger. The case holds up to three batteries and two microSD cards at the same time. With batteries inserted, it can also charge external devices like your phone.
Note: We recommend fully charging and discharging the battery every three months to keep it in good condition. If you won't be using the battery for more than 10 days, discharge it to 40–65% before storing it.
2.3 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button to power the camera on or off.
2.4 Activating the Device
Before first use, activate the camera using the DJI Mimo app.

3.2 Shooting and Playback
Storage
The camera comes with 105 GB of available storage and also supports storage expansion via a microSD card. Once a card is inserted, go to Control Center > Storage to switch your storage location.
Shooting Mode
After powering on, the camera defaults to 360° mode. Tap the icon in the bottom-left corner to switch between 360° and Single Lens modes.
Image and Audio Settings
In the liveview, tap the parameter adjustment icon to modify image and audio settings. The default settings work well for everyday shooting. Adaptive Tone automatically adjusts image contrast and facial brightness, and the effect can be previewed after importing footage into DJI Mimo. Tap PRO to adjust pro parameters like D-Log M color mode.
Playback
Tap the Playback icon in the liveview to enter the playback page. During playback, tap and hold anywhere on the screen to play at double speed.
3.3 Intelligent Shooting Features
Spotlight Follow
When Spotlight Follow is enabled, the camera detects faces within a 2-meter range in all directions and automatically tracks the subject. When you're done shooting, you can export the finished clip directly from DJI Mimo.
Gesture Control
After enabling Gesture Control in Control Center, raise your palm facing the camera to start recording, stop recording, or take a photo. A countdown is added automatically when taking a photo. Gesture detection works best within 2 meters of the camera.
SnapShot
When the camera is powered off, press the Shutter/Record button once to start shooting quickly. After shooting, the camera will automatically power off if there's no activity for 3 seconds. By default, SnapShot uses the settings from your last 360° mode session. To change this, go to Control Center > Settings > SnapShot.
Twist Shot
After enabling Twist Shot in Control Center, hold the selfie stick and rotate it twice in a row while the camera is on to start recording, stop recording, or take a photo. Each rotation must be greater than 45°.
Underwater Shooting
Press and hold the Shutter/Record button to enable Waterproof Case mode. When enabled, the camera can only be controlled using the power button: press once to take a photo or start/stop recording, press twice to open the Quick Switch page, and short-press repeatedly to cycle through shooting modes.
Voice Control
Enable Voice Control in Control Center. Select your language and learn the voice commands, then use them to take a photo, start or stop recording, or power off the camera.

Transferring Files to a Mobile Device

The app will download your selected files automatically. 360° videos are saved to the DJI Mimo album; other files go to your phone's camera roll.
