When an emergency occurs, every millisecond matters. The DJI AP100 Parachute is capable of deploying in under 600 milliseconds, quickly stopping the aircraft's motors before deploying the parachute to reduce descent speed and minimise impact risk.

Once deployed from an effective altitude of 30 metres or above, the parachute stabilises the aircraft's descent to 5 m/s or less, helping to reduce potential damage to the aircraft, attached payloads and surrounding property.
