FAQs
The Osmo Pocket 4P builds on the Osmo Pocket 4 with several significant upgrades designed to improve image quality, creative flexibility and professional workflows.
Larger 1-inch sensor with greater dynamic range
A new 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor with advanced LOFIC technology delivers up to 17 stops of dynamic range, capturing more detail in bright highlights and deep shadows. Combined with the D-Log 2 colour profile, it provides exceptional flexibility for professional colour grading and high-contrast scenes.
Dedicated 60mm portrait lens
Alongside the wide-angle camera, the Osmo Pocket 4P introduces a dedicated 60mm f/1.8 telephoto lens. Designed specifically for portraits, it produces more natural perspective, improved subject separation and beautifully soft background blur.
Dual optical cameras for greater versatility
The dual-camera system gives you the flexibility to switch between a 20mm wide-angle lens for landscapes, travel and vlogging, and a 60mm telephoto lens for portraits and distant subjects. Higher zoom levels make it easier to capture detail without moving closer to your subject.
Extended zoom range
The Osmo Pocket 4P significantly expands its zoom capabilities, offering up to 9× zoom for photos and up to 12× zoom for video, making it easier to frame subjects at a distance.
Faster electronic shutter
An upgraded electronic shutter of up to 1/16000s helps freeze fast-moving subjects more effectively while providing greater flexibility when shooting in bright conditions.
Familiar design and accessories
Core hardware remains unchanged, including the bright 2-inch touchscreen, three-microphone audio system, 1545mAh battery, fast charging support, and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing existing users to enjoy the latest imaging upgrades without sacrificing the features they already rely on.
The Osmo Pocket 4P features two dedicated control buttons beneath the touchscreen for faster operation.
Zoom Button
- Press once to switch between 1× and 3× zoom.
- Press twice to jump straight to 6× zoom.
- Press and hold for smooth, variable-speed zooming, with zoom speed adjustable in the settings.
Custom Button
- Press and hold to smoothly zoom out.
- Assign your favourite functions to single, double or triple presses, including gimbal modes, Quick Capture, Photo/Video switching, gimbal lock, fill light control, Follow/FPV mode and more.
The Osmo Pocket 4P uses a dedicated dual-camera system, giving you two optical lenses for greater creative flexibility.
- 20mm Wide-Angle Lens – A 1-inch CMOS sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, ideal for landscapes, travel, vlogging and group shots.
- 60mm Medium Telephoto Lens – A 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor with a bright f/1.8 aperture, perfect for portraits, close-ups and capturing distant subjects with natural background blur.
The 60mm focal length is produced by a dedicated optical lens with its own image sensor. It isn't created by digitally cropping the wide-angle camera, resulting in sharper images, improved detail and more natural-looking portraits.
Yes. The wide-angle camera records up to 4K at 240fps, while the telephoto lens supports up to 4K at 200fps, allowing both cameras to capture incredibly smooth slow-motion footage.
D-Log 2 is DJI's latest professional colour profile, offering up to 17 stops of dynamic range for exceptional highlight and shadow detail. It captures 10-bit colour for greater grading flexibility, making it perfect for professional editing workflows.
